Nehemiah 11:21–24
21 But the eNethinims dwelt in ||Ophel: and fZiha and Gispa were over the Nethinims. 22 The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of gBani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of hMattaniah, the son of hMicha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God. 23 For it was ithe king’s commandment concerning them, that ||a certain portion should be for the singers, kdue for every day. 24 And Pethahiah the son of lMeshezabeel, of the children of ||Zerah the son of Judah, was mat the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.

Nehemiah 11:21–24 — New International Version (2011) (NIV)
21 The temple servants lived on the hill of Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa were in charge of them.
22 The chief officer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mika. Uzzi was one of Asaph’s descendants, who were the musicians responsible for the service of the house of God. 23 The musicians were under the king’s orders, which regulated their daily activity.
24 Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, one of the descendants of Zerah son of Judah, was the king’s agent in all affairs relating to the people.

He told them what they should do every day.
24 Pethahiah worked for the king in all matters that were connected with the people. He was the son of Meshezabel. Meshezabel belonged to the family line of Zerah. Zerah was the son of Judah.
