71 And when he was gone out into wthe porch, xanother maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of vNazareth. 72 And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. 73 And yafter a while came unto him zthey that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for athy speech bbewrayeth thee.

72 He denied it again, with an oath: “I don’t know the man!”
73 After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away.”
