Matthew 19:14–16

14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”

14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And he laid his hands on them and went away.

16 And behold, a man came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?”

14 But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” 15 And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.

16 Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?”

14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.

16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”

14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children.” 15 After Jesus put his hands on the children, he left there.

16 A man came to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to have life forever?”

14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

16 And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and do not hinder them from coming to me; for the kingdom of the heavens is of such: 15 and having laid his hands upon them, he departed thence.

16 And lo, one coming up said to him, Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have life eternal?

14 Jesus said, “Don’t stop children from coming to me! Children like these are part of God’s kingdom.” 15 After Jesus blessed them, he went away from there. 

16 Then a man came to Jesus and said, “Teacher, what good deed should I do to gain eternal life?” 

14 Then Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this.” 15 After putting His hands on them, He went on from there.

16 Just then someone came up and asked Him, “Teacher, what good must I do to have eternal life?”

14 but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” 15 And he laid his hands on them and went on his way.

16 Then someone came to him and said, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?”

14 But Jesus said, “Allow the children, and do not forbid them to come to me, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And he laid his hands on them and traveled on from there.

16 And behold, someone came up to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing must I do so that I will have eternal life?”

14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t keep them away. The kingdom of heaven belongs to people like them.” 15 Jesus placed his hands on them. Then he went on from there.

16 A man came up to Jesus. He asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to receive eternal life?”

14 But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

15 After laying His hands on them, He departed from there.

16 And someone came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?”
