56 Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” 57 And they took offense at him.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”

56 And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” 57 And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.”

56 All his sisters live right here among us. Where did he learn all these things?” 57 And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him.

Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family.”

56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” 57 So they were offended at Him.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”

56 And all his sisters are here with us. Where then does this man get all these things?” 57 So the people were upset with Jesus.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his hometown and in his own home.”

56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? 57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house.

But Jesus said to them, “The only place a prophet isn’t honored is in his hometown and in his own house.”

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not honored in his hometown. He doesn’t receive any honor in his own home.”

56 “And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”

57 And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.”
