Judges 8:34–35

34 and did not remember the Lord their God, who had rescued them from the hands of all their enemies on every side. 35 They also failed to show any loyalty to the family of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) in spite of all the good things he had done for them.

34 And the people of Israel did not remember the Lord their God, who had delivered them from the hand of all their enemies on every side, 35 and they did not show steadfast love to the family of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) in return for all the good that he had done to Israel.

34 They forgot the Lord their God, who had rescued them from all their enemies surrounding them. 35 Nor did they show any loyalty to the family of Jerub-baal (that is, Gideon), despite all the good he had done for Israel.

34 Thus the children of Israel did not remember the Lord their God, who had delivered them from the hands of all their enemies on every side; 35 nor did they show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal (Gideon) in accordance with the good he had done for Israel.

34 The Israelites did not remember the Lord their God, who had saved them from all their enemies living all around them. 35 And they were not kind to the family of Jerub-Baal, also called Gideon, for all the good he had done for Israel.

34 And the children of Israel remembered not Jehovah their God, who had delivered them out of the hand of all their enemies on every side; 35 neither showed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had showed unto Israel.

34 And the children of Israel remembered not Jehovah their God, who had delivered them out of the hand of all their enemies on every side. 35 And they shewed no kindness to the house of Jerubbaal-Gideon, according to all the good that he had done to Israel.

34 The Israelites did not remember the Lord their God, who had rescued them from all the enemies around them. 35 And they were not kind to the family of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) despite all the good he had done for Israel. 

34 The Israelites did not remember the Lord their God who had delivered them from the power of the enemies around them. 35 They did not show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) for all the good he had done for Israel.

34 The Israelites did not remember the Lord their God, who had rescued them from the hand of all their enemies on every side, 35 and they did not exhibit loyalty to the house of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) in return for all the good that he had done to Israel.

34 The Israelites did not remember Yahweh their God, who had delivered them from the hand of their enemies from all around, 35 nor did they show favor to the house of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) in accordance with all the good that he did for Israel.

34 They forgot what the Lord their God had done for them. He had saved them from the power of their enemies who were all around them.

35 Jerub-Baal had done many good things for the people of Israel. But they weren’t kind to his family. Jerub-Baal was another name for Gideon.

34 Thus the sons of Israel did not remember the Lord their God, who had delivered them from the hands of all their enemies on every side;

35 nor did they show kindness to the household of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) in accord with all the good that he had done to Israel.
