Judges 11:34–35
34 And Jephthah came to qMizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out rto meet him with stimbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; ||beside her he had neither son nor daughter. 35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he trent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord, and uI cannot go back.

Judges 11:34–35 — The New International Version (NIV)
34 When Jephthah returned to his home in Mizpah, who should come out to meet him but his daughter, dancing to the sound of timbrels! She was an only child. Except for her he had neither son nor daughter. 35 When he saw her, he tore his clothes and cried, “Oh no, my daughter! You have brought me down and I am devastated. I have made a vow to the Lord that I cannot break.”
