John 9:30–38
30 The man answered and said unto them, fWhy herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. 31 Now we know that gGod heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, hhim he heareth. 32 iSince the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. 33 kIf this man were not lof God, he could do nothing. 34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast maltogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they ||ncast him out. 35 Jesus heard that they had ncast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou obelieve on pthe Son of God? 36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Jesus said unto him, qThou hast both seen him, and rit is he that talketh with thee. 38 And he said, Lord, I believe. 35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
36 “Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”
37 Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”
38 Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

36 The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.”
37 “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!”
38 “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.
