Hebrews 13:5–6 — The New International Version (NIV)
5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
6 So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”
Hebrews 13:5–6 — English Standard Version (ESV)
5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say,

I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”
Hebrews 13:5–6 — New Living Translation (NLT)
5 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,
“I will never fail you.
I will never abandon you.”

so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?”
Hebrews 13:5–6 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say:

I will not fear.

People can’t do anything to me.”
Hebrews 13:5–6 — American Standard Version (ASV)
5 Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee. 6 So that with good courage we say,
The Lord is my helper; I will not fear:
What shall man do unto me?
Hebrews 13:5–6 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
5 Let your conversation be without love of money, satisfied with your present circumstances; for he has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee. 6 So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me?
