Genesis 15:17–21

17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was fdark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. 18 In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, gUnto thy seed have I given this land, from hthe river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19 The iKenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20 And the kHittites, and the lPerizzites, and the mRephaims, 21 And the Amorites, and the nCanaanites, and the oGirgashites, and the Jebusites.

Genesis 15:17–21 — The New International Version (NIV)

17 When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces. 18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”
