Exodus 9:24–26
24 So there was hail, and rfire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail ssmote every herb of the field, and sbrake every tree of the field. 26 tOnly in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation. 25 Throughout Egypt hail struck everything in the fields—both people and animals; it beat down everything growing in the fields and stripped every tree. 26 The only place it did not hail was the land of Goshen, where the Israelites were.
