Ephesians 2:11–3:6

11 Wherefore remember, bthat ye being in ctime past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called dthe Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, ebeing aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and fstrangers from gthe covenants of promise, hhaving no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus iye who csometimes were jfar off are made nigh kby the blood of Christ. 14 For lhe is our peace, mwho hath made both one, and hath nbroken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 oHaving abolished pin his flesh ppthe enmity, even the law of commandments contained in oqordinances; for to make in himself of twain one rnew man, so lmaking peace; 16 And that he might sreconcile both unto God in ssone body by the cross, othaving slain pthe enmity ||uthereby: 17 And came and wpreached peace to you which were jafar off, and to xthem that were nigh. 18 For ythrough him we both zhave access aby one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more bcstrangers and cdforeigners, but efellowcitizens with the saints, and fof the household of God; 20 And are gbuilt upon the foundation of the hiapostles and iprophets, kJesus Christ himself being lthe chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building mfitly framed together groweth unto nan holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom oye also are builded together pfor an habitation of God through the Spirit.

3 For this cause I Paul, athe prisoner of Jesus Christ bfor you cGentiles, If ye have heard of dthe dispensation eof the grace of God which is given me cto you-ward: fHow that gby revelation hhe made known unto me the mystery; i(as I wrote ||afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, kye may understand my knowledge in lthe mystery of Christ) hWhich in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy mapostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be nfellowheirs, and oof the same body, and ppartakers nof his promise in Christ by the gospel:
