Daniel 11:30–37

30 †For the zships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation vagainst wthe holy covenant: xso shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with athem that forsake wthe holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and bthey shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and cshall take away the daily sacrifice, and dthey shall place the abomination that ||maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he ||ecorrupt fby flatteries: but the people that do know their God gshall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And hthey that understand among the people shall instruct many: iyet they shall kfall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they kshall fall, they shall be lholpen mwith a little help: but many shall cleave to them nwith flatteries. 35 And some of hthem of understanding kshall fall, oto try ||them, and opto purge, and oqto make them white, even to rthe time of the end: sbecause it is yet for a time appointed.

36 And the king tshall do according to his will; and uhe shall exalt himself, and vmagnify himself above every god, and nshall speak marvellous things against wthe God of gods, and xshall prosper ytill the indignation zbe accomplished: for zthat that is determined shall be done. 37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, anor the desire of women, vnor regard any god: for vhe shall magnify himself above all.
