21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of yTyre and Sidon. 22 And, behold, a woman of zCanaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, athou Son of David; my daughter is grievously bvexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, cSend her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, dI am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Matthew 15:21–24 — The New International Version (NIV)
21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”
23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
