Matthew 23:38–24:4

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, sBlessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

24 And aJesus went out, and bdeparted from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, cThere shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Matthew 23:38–24:4 — The New International Version (NIV)

38 Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39 For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. Do you see all these things?” he asked. Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you.

As Jesus was leaving the Temple grounds, his disciples pointed out to him the various Temple buildings. But he responded, Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”

Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?”

As Jesus left the Temple and was walking away, his followers came up to show him the Temple’s buildings. Jesus asked, “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, not one stone will be left on another. Every stone will be thrown down to the ground.”

Jesus left the temple. He was walking away when his disciples came up to him. They wanted to call his attention to the temple buildings.
