Matthew 1:23–25

23 dBehold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and ||they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not etill she had brought forth fher firstborn son: and he gcalled his name JESUS.

Matthew 1:23–25 — The New International Version (NIV)

23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
