John 19:17–19

17 And he dbearing his cross ewent forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and ftwo other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. 19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, gJESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.

17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.

19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews.
