Galatians 1:10–16

10 For tdo I now upersuade men, or God? or do I seek wto please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11 But xzI certify you, brethren, that ythe gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For zI neither received it aof man, neither was I taught it, but by athe revelation of Jesus Christ. 13 For ye have heard of my bconversation in time past in the cJews’ religion, how that dbeyond measure I persecuted ethe church of God, and fwasted it: 14 And gprofited in the cJews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, hbeing more exceedingly zealous of ithe traditions of my fathers. 15 *But when jit pleased God, kwho separated me from my mother’s womb, and lcalled me by his grace, 16 aTo reveal his Son in me, mthat I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I nconferred not with oflesh and blood:
