Ephesians 4:1–12

I therefore, athe prisoner ||of the Lord, bbeseech you that ye cwalk worthy of the dvocation wherewith ye are called, efWith all lowliness and fmeekness, fgwith longsuffering, hforbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in ithe bond of peace. There is kone body, and lone Spirit, even as mye are called in one nhope of your calling; oOne Lord, pone faith, one baptism, qOne God and Father of all, who is rabove all, and sthrough all, and in you all. But tunto every one of us uis given grace waccording to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, xWhen he ascended up on high, yhe led ||captivity captive, and zgave gifts unto men. a(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into bthe lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that cascended up dfar above all heavens, ethat he might ||ffill all things.) 11 And he gave some, gapostles; and some, ghprophets; and some, ievangelists; and some, kpastors and lteachers; 12 For the mperfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for nthe edifying of othe body of Christ:
