Daniel 9:9–14

cTo the Lord our God belong mercies and dforgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him; 10 efNeither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, fto walk in his laws, which he set before us by ehis servants the prophets. 11 Yea, gall Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, hthat they might not obey thy voice; therefore ithe curse kis poured upon us, and the oath lthat is written in the law of Moses llthe servant of God, bhbecause we have sinned against him. 12 And mhe hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against nour judges that judged us, oby bringing upon us a great evil: mfor under the whole heaven phath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As lmit is written in the law of Moses, qall this evil is come upon us: ryet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and sunderstand thy truth. 14 Therefore thath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for uthe Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for ewe obeyed not his voice.
