Daniel 11:23–24

23 And after the league made with him *lhe shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong fwith a small people. 24 He shall enter ||gpeaceably even upon mthe fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; nhe shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against othe strong holds, even for a time.

Daniel 11:23–24 — The New International Version (NIV)

23 After coming to an agreement with him, he will act deceitfully, and with only a few people he will rise to power. 24 When the richest provinces feel secure, he will invade them and will achieve what neither his fathers nor his forefathers did. He will distribute plunder, loot and wealth among his followers. He will plot the overthrow of fortresses—but only for a time.
