Acts 16:5–8

And so were lthe churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily. Now when they had gone throughout mPhrygia and the region of nGalatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in oAsia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into pBithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. Acts 16:5–8 — The New International Version (NIV)

So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.

Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas.
