This know also, that ain the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be blovers of their own selves, ccovetous, dboasters, deproud, fblasphemers, ddisobedient to parents, gunthankful, hunholy, 3 iWithout natural affection, itrucebreakers, ||false accusers, kincontinent, fierce, ldespisers of those that are good, 4 mTraitors, nheady, ohighminded, plovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 qHaving a rform of godliness, but sdenying the power thereof: tfrom such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they ttwhich creep into houses, and lead captive silly women uladen with sins, led away with udivers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able vto come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now was Jannes and Jambres xwithstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: ymen of corrupt minds, ||reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall zproceed no further: for their afolly bshall be manifest unto all men, cas theirs also was. 10 But ||dthou hast fully known my edoctrine, fmanner of life, gpurpose, hfaith, longsuffering, hcharity, hpatience, 11 iPersecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at kAntioch, at lIconium, at mLystra; what ipersecutions I endured: but nout of them all the Lord odelivered me. 12 Yea, and pall that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
