2 Timothy 2:23–3:7

23 But foolish and unlearned fquestions gavoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And hthe servant of the Lord must not strive; but be igentle unto all men, kapt to teach, ||lpatient, 25 mIn meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; nif God peradventure will give them repentance oto the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may †recover themselves out pof the snare of the devil, who are †taken captive by him at his will.

3 This know also, that ain the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be blovers of their own selves, ccovetous, dboasters, deproud, fblasphemers, ddisobedient to parents, gunthankful, hunholy, 3 iWithout natural affection, itrucebreakers, ||false accusers, kincontinent, fierce, ldespisers of those that are good, 4 mTraitors, nheady, ohighminded, plovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 qHaving a rform of godliness, but sdenying the power thereof: tfrom such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they ttwhich creep into houses, and lead captive silly women uladen with sins, led away with udivers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able vto come to the knowledge of the truth.
