1 Peter 5:4–6
4 And when nthe chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall oreceive pa crown of glory qthat fadeth not away. 5 Likewise, rye younger, submit yourselves unto athe elder. Yea, sall of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with sshumility: for tGod resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6 uHumble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
