1 Kings 21:3–4
3 And Naboth said to Ahab, The Lord forbid it me, cthat I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee. 4 And Ahab came dinto his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

4 So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat.

So Ahab lay on his bed. He was in a very bad mood. He wouldn’t even eat anything.
