1 Kings 15:8–10

8 And Abijah rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Asa his son succeeded him as king.

9 In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa became king of Judah, 10 and he reigned in Jerusalem forty-one years. His grandmother’s name was Maakah daughter of Abishalom.

8 And Abijam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Asa his son reigned in his place.

9 In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa began to reign over Judah, 10 and he reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.

8 When Abijam died, he was buried in the City of David. Then his son Asa became the next king.

9 Asa began to rule over Judah in the twentieth year of Jeroboam’s reign in Israel. 10 He reigned in Jerusalem forty-one years. His grandmother was Maacah, the granddaughter of Absalom.

8 So Abijam rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of David. Then Asa his son reigned in his place.

9 In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa became king over Judah. 10 And he reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem. His grandmother’s name was Maachah the granddaughter of Abishalom.

8 Abijam died and was buried in Jerusalem, and his son Asa became king in his place.

9 During the twentieth year Jeroboam was king of Israel, Asa became king of Judah. 10 His grandmother’s name was Maacah, the daughter of Abishalom. Asa ruled in Jerusalem for forty-one years.

9 And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Asa to reign over Judah. 10 And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.

8 Abijah joined the members of his family who had already died. His body was buried in the City of David. His son Asa became the next king after him.

9 Asa became king of Judah. It was in the 20th year that Jeroboam was king of Israel. 10 Asa ruled in Jerusalem for 41 years. His grandmother’s name was Maacah. She was Abishalom’s daughter.
