1 Corinthians 11:16–18
16 But zif any man aseem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither bthe churches of God. 17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. 18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, cI hear that there be ||divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

17 In the following directives I have no praise for you, for your meetings do more harm than good. 18 In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it.
