Psalm 92
*A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.
1aIt is a good thing to bgive thanks unto the Lord,
And to bsing praises unto thy name, O most High:
2To shew forth thy clovingkindness in the morning,
And cthy faithfulness †every night,
3dUpon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the bdpsaltery;
||Upon the bdharp with †a solemn sound.
4For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through ethy work:
I will triumph in the eworks of thy hands.
5O Lord, fhow great are thy works!
And thy thoughts are very gdeep.
6A hbrutish man knoweth not;
Neither doth ha fool understand this.
7When ithe wicked kspring as the grass,
And when all jthe workers of iniquity do klflourish;
It is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
8But thou, Lord, art mmost high for evermore.
9For, lo, nthine enemies, O Lord,
For, lo, nthine enemies shall perish;
All jthe workers of iniquity shall obe scattered.
10But pmy horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of qan unicorn:
I shall be anointed rwith sfresh oil.
11tMine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies,
And mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
12uThe righteous shall kflourish like xthe palm tree:
He shall grow like ya cedar in Lebanon.
13Those that be zplanted ain the house of the Lord
Shall kflourish in bthe courts of our God.
14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age;
They shall be fat and †flourishing;
15cTo shew that the Lord is upright:
