Psalm 82

A Psalm ^||of Asaph.

^1aGod ^bstandeth in the congregation of the mighty;

^cHe judgeth among the ^dgods.

^2eHow long will ye judge unjustly,

And ^fgaccept the persons ^gof the wicked? Selah.

^3†Defend the ^hpoor and ⁱfatherless:

ⁱDo justice to the afflicted and needy.

^4kDeliver the ^hpoor and needy:

^lRid them out of the hand of the wicked.

^5mThey know not, neither will they understand;

ⁿThey walk on in darkness:

^oAll the foundations of the earth are ^†out of course.

^6pI have said, Ye are ^qgods;

And all of you are ^rchildren of the most High.

⁷But ^sye shall die ^tlike men,

And fall like one of the princes.

^8uArise, O God, judge the earth:

^xFor thou shalt inherit all nations.
