145I cried with my whole heart;

Hear me, O Lord: I will rkeep thy statutes.

146I cried unto thee; save me,

||And I shall keep thy testimonies.

147I sprevented tthe dawning of the morning, and cried:

I uhoped in thy word.

148Mine eyes sprevent wthe night watches,

That I might xmeditate in thy word.

149Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness:

O Lord, yquicken me zaccording to thy judgment.

150They draw nigh that follow after mischief:

They are far from thy law.

151aThou art near, O Lord;

And all thy commandments are btruth.

152Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old

cThat thou hast dfounded them for ever.

My eyes are awake before the watches of the night,

Hear my voice according to your steadfast love;

O Lord, according to your justice give me life.

They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose;

they are far from your law.

But you are near, O Lord,

and all your commandments are true.

Long have I known from your testimonies

that you have founded them forever.
