Psalm 115:18–116:9

^18aBut we will bless the ^yLord

From this time forth and for evermore.

^bPraise the Lord.

Psalm 116

¹I ^alove the Lord, because ^bhe hath heard

^bbMy voice and my supplications.

²Because he hath ^cinclined his ear unto me,

Therefore will I call upon him ^†as long as I live.

^3dThe sorrows of death ^ecompassed me,

And the ^fpains of hell ^†gat hold upon me:

I found trouble and sorrow.

^4gThen called I upon the name of the Lord;

O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

^5hGracious is the Lord, and ⁱrighteous;

Yea, our God is ^hmerciful.

⁶The Lord preserveth the ^ksimple:

^lI was brought low, and he helped me.

⁷Return unto thy ^mrest, O my soul;

For the Lord ⁿhath dealt bountifully with thee.

^8oFor thou hast delivered my soul from death,

Mine eyes from tears,

And ^omy feet from falling.

⁹I will walk before the Lord

^pIn the land of the living.
