John 16:5–15

⁵But now ^kI go my way to him that sent me; and ^lnone of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? ⁶But because I have said these things unto you, ^msorrow hath filled your heart. ⁷Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, ⁿthe Comforter ^owill not come unto you; but ^pif I depart, ^qI will send him unto you. ⁸And when he is come, he will ^||rreprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: ^9sOf sin, ^tbecause they believe not on me; ^10uOf righteousness, ^wbecause I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; ^11xOf judgment, because ^ythe prince of this world ^zis judged.

^12aI have yet many things to say unto you, ^bbut ye cannot bear them now. ¹³Howbeit when he, ^cthe Spirit of truth, is come, ^dhe will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and ^ehe will ^fshew you things to come. ¹⁴He shall ^gglorify me: for ^hhe shall receive of mine, and shall ^fshew it unto you. ¹⁵ⁱAll things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that ^hhe shall take of mine, and shall ^fshew it unto you.
