Spreading the Good News—Matthew 4:23–25; Mark 1:35–39
42In the morning he went to a place where he could be alone. The crowds searched for him. When they came to him, they tried to keep him from leaving. 43But he said to them, “I have to tell the Good News about God’s kingdom in other cities also. That’s what I was sent to do.”
44So he spread his message in the synagogues of Judea.a

NLTNew Living Translation
Early the next morning Jesus went out to an isolated place. The crowds searched everywhere for him, and when they finally found him, they begged him not to leave them. But he replied, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent.” So he continued to travel around, preaching in synagogues throughout Judea.
