Isaiah 33:24–34:2

24 No one living in Zion will say, “I am ill”;

and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.

1 Come near, you nations, and listen;

pay attention, you peoples!

Let the earth hear, and all that is in it,

the world, and all that comes out of it!

2 The Lord is angry with all nations;

his wrath is on all their armies.

He will totally destroy them,

he will give them over to slaughter.

24 And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”;

the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Draw near, O nations, to hear,

and give attention, O peoples!

Let the earth hear, and all that fills it;

the world, and all that comes from it.

2 For the Lord is enraged against all the nations,

and furious against all their host;

he has devoted them to destruction, has given them over for slaughter.

24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick:

The people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Come near, ye nations, to hear;

And hearken, ye people:

Let the earth hear, and all that is therein;

The world, and all things that come forth of it.

2 For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations,

And his fury upon all their armies:

He hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

24 The people of Israel will no longer say,

“We are sick and helpless,”

for the Lord will forgive their sins.

1 Come here and listen, O nations of the earth.

Let the world and everything in it hear my words.

2 For the Lord is enraged against the nations.

His fury is against all their armies.

He will completely destroy them,

dooming them to slaughter.

24 And the inhabitant will not say, “I am sick”;

The people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Come near, you nations, to hear;

And heed, you people!

Let the earth hear, and all that is in it,

The world and all things that come forth from it.

2 For the indignation of the Lord is against all nations,

And His fury against all their armies;

He has utterly destroyed them,

He has given them over to the slaughter.

24 No one living in Jerusalem will say, “I am sick.”

The people who live there will have their sins forgiven.

1 All you nations, come near and listen.

Pay attention, you peoples!

The earth and all the people in it should listen,

the world and everything in it.

2 The Lord is angry with all the nations;

he is angry with their armies.

He will destroy them and kill them all.

24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye peoples: let the earth hear, and the fulness thereof; the world, and all things that come forth from it. 2 For Jehovah hath indignation against all the nations, and wrath against all their host: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye peoples: let the earth hear, and all its fulness; the world, and all that cometh forth of it. 2 For the wrath of Jehovah is against all the nations, and his fury against all their armies: he hath devoted them to destruction, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

24 and none there will say, “I am sick.”

The people who dwell there

will be forgiven their iniquity.

1 You nations, come here and listen;

you peoples, pay attention!

Let the earth hear, and all that fills it,

the world and all that comes from it.

2 The Lord is angry with all the nations—

furious with all their armies.

He will set them apart for destruction,

giving them over to slaughter.

24 And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”;

the people who live there will be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Draw near, O nations, to hear;

O peoples, give heed!

Let the earth hear and all that fills it,

the world and all that comes from it.

2 For the Lord is enraged against all the nations

and furious against all their hordes;

he has doomed them, has given them over for slaughter.

24 And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”;

the people who live in it, their iniquity will be taken away.

1 Come near, nations, to hear;

and peoples, listen attentively!

Let the earth hear, and that which fills it;

the world and all its offspring.

2 For the anger of Yahweh is against all the nations,

and his wrath is against all their host;

he has put them under a ban,

he has given them up for slaughter.

24 No one living in Zion will ever say again, “I’m sick.”

And the sins of those who live there will be forgiven.

1 Nations, come near and listen to me!

Pay attention to what I’m about to say.

Let the earth and everything in it listen.

Let the world and everything that comes out of it pay attention.

2 The Lord is angry with all of the nations.

His anger burns against all of their armies.

He will totally destroy them.

He will have them killed.

24 And no resident will say, “I am sick”;

The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.

1 Draw near, O nations, to hear; and listen, O peoples!

Let the earth and all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.

2 For the Lord’s indignation is against all the nations,

And His wrath against all their armies;

He has utterly destroyed them,

He has given them over to slaughter.
