10The whole region, from Geba in the north to Rimmon in the south, will be made level. Jerusalem will tower above the land round it; the city will reach from the Benjamin Gate to the Corner Gate, where there had been an earlier gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. 11*The people will live there in safety, no longer threatened by destruction.

The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. And it shall be inhabited, for there shall never again be a decree of utter destruction. Jerusalem shall dwell in security.

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place. It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

All the land from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem will be changed into a plain. People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.

NLTNew Living Translation

All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses. And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed.

LEBThe Lexham English Bible

All the land will be transformed into a desert plateau from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But it will rise up high and it will stay in its place from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, up to the Corner Gate and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses. And they will dwell in it, and there will be no more ban imposed, and Jerusalem will dwell in security.

KJV 1900King James Version

All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem:

And it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place,

From Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate,

And from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.

And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction;

But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
