Darkness is my closest friend.

LEBThe Lexham English Bible

They surround me like water all the day;

You have removed loved one and friend far from me,

my acquaintances far from my darkness.

KJV 1900King James Version

Thy terrors have cut me off.

And mine acquaintance into darkness.
