Mark 9:28–29

28 And when he had ventered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” 29 And he said to them, This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer.”5

28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
