Luke 2:5–6

5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

5 He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child.

6 And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born.

5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.

5 Joseph registered with Mary, to whom he was engaged and who was now pregnant. 6 While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for Mary to have the baby,

5 to enrol himself with Mary, who was betrothed to him, being great with child. 6 And it came to pass, while they were there, the days were fulfilled that she should be delivered.

5 to be inscribed in the census roll with Mary who was betrothed to him as his wife, she being great with child. 6 And it came to pass, while they were there, the days of her giving birth to her child were fulfilled,

5 Joseph went there to register with Mary. She had been promised to him in marriage and was pregnant. 

6 While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for Mary to have her child.

5 to be registered along with Mary, who was engaged to him and was pregnant. 6 While they were there, the time came for her to give birth.

5 He went to be registered with Mary, to whom he was engaged and who was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child.

5 to be registered together with Mary, who was legally promised in marriage to him and was pregnant. 6 And it happened that while they were there, the time came for her to give birth.

5 He went there with Mary to be listed. Mary was engaged to him. She was expecting a baby.

6 While Joseph and Mary were there, the time came for the child to be born.

5 in order to register along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child.

6 While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.
