1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: ‘Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.

3 “ ‘Each of you must respect your mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.

4 “ ‘Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God.

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy. 3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God. 4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

1 The Lord also said to Moses, 2 “Give the following instructions to the entire community of Israel. You must be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.

3 “Each of you must show great respect for your mother and father, and you must always observe my Sabbath days of rest. I am the Lord your God.

4 “Do not put your trust in idols or make metal images of gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God.

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

3 ‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

4 ‘Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molded gods: I am the Lord your God.

1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Tell all the people of Israel: ‘I am the Lord your God. You must be holy because I am holy.

3 “ ‘You must respect your mother and father, and you must keep my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.

4 “ ‘Do not worship idols or make statues or gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God.

3 “Respect your mother and father. Observe my days of rest as holy days. I am the Lord your God. 

4 “Don’t turn to worthless gods or cast metal idols. Never make any gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God.
