Jeremiah 29:4–5

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: nBuild houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat their produce.

Jeremiah 29:4–5 — The New International Version (NIV)

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.
