Jeremiah 17:12–15 — The New International Version (NIV)

12 A glorious throne, exalted from the beginning,

is the place of our sanctuary.

13 Lord, you are the hope of Israel;

all who forsake you will be put to shame.

Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust

because they have forsaken the Lord,

the spring of living water.

14 Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;

save me and I will be saved,

for you are the one I praise.

15 They keep saying to me,

“Where is the word of the Lord?

Let it now be fulfilled!”

Jeremiah 17:12–15 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

12 A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary. 13 O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters. 14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. 15 Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.

Jeremiah 17:12–15 — New Living Translation (NLT)

12 But we worship at your throne—

eternal, high, and glorious!

13 O Lord, the hope of Israel,

all who turn away from you will be disgraced.

They will be buried in the dust of the earth,

for they have abandoned the Lord, the fountain of living water.

14 O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;

if you save me, I will be truly saved.

My praises are for you alone!

15 People scoff at me and say,

“What is this ‘message from the Lord’ you talk about?

Why don’t your predictions come true?”

Jeremiah 17:12–15 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

12 A glorious high throne from the beginning

Is the place of our sanctuary.

13 O Lord, the hope of Israel,

All who forsake You shall be ashamed.

“Those who depart from Me

Shall be written in the earth,

Because they have forsaken the Lord,

The fountain of living waters.”

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;

Save me, and I shall be saved,

For You are my praise.

15 Indeed they say to me,

“Where is the word of the Lord?

Let it come now!”

Jeremiah 17:12–15 — New Century Version (NCV)

12 From the beginning, our Temple has been honored

as a glorious throne for God.

13 Lord, hope of Israel,

those who leave you will be shamed.

People who quit following the Lord will be like a name written in the dust,

because they have left the Lord, the spring of living water.

14 Lord, heal me, and I will truly be healed.

Save me, and I will truly be saved.

You are the one I praise.

15 The people of Judah keep asking me,

“Where is the word from the Lord?

Let’s see that message come true!”

Jeremiah 17:12–15 — American Standard Version (ASV)

because they abandon the Lord

the fountain of life-giving water.

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed.

Rescue me, and I will be rescued.

You are the one I praise.

Let it come.”

Let it come!”

12 O glorious throne, exalted from the beginning,

shrine of our sanctuary!

All who forsake you shall be put to shame;

those who turn away from you shall be recorded in the underworld,

for they have forsaken the fountain of living water, the Lord.

14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;

save me, and I shall be saved;

13 O Yahweh, the hope of Israel,

all those who forsake you will be put to shame,

and those who turn aside from you in the earth will be recorded,

for they have forsaken the fountain of living water, Yahweh.

14 Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed,

save me, and I will be saved,

for you are my praise.

15 Look, they are saying to me,

“Where is the word of Yahweh?

Please let it come.”

Jeremiah 17:12–15 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

12 Our temple is where the Lord’s glorious throne is.

From the beginning it has been high and lifted up.

Everyone who deserts you will be put to shame.

The names of those who turn away from you will be listed among the dead.

Lord, they have deserted you.

You are the spring of water that gives life.

14 Lord, heal me. Then I will be healed.

Save me from my enemies. Then I will be saved.

You are the one I praise.

15 They keep saying to me,

“What has happened to the message the Lord gave you?

Let it come true right now!”

Save me and I will be saved,

For You are my praise.

15 Look, they keep saying to me,

Where is the word of the Lord?

Let it come now!”
