Isaiah 22:9–10

9 You saw that the walls of the City of David

were broken through in many places;

you stored up water

in the Lower Pool.

10 You counted the buildings in Jerusalem

and tore down houses to strengthen the wall.

9 Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many:

And ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool.

10 And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem,

And the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.

9 You inspect the breaks in the walls of Jerusalem.

You store up water in the lower pool.

10 You survey the houses and tear some down

for stone to strengthen the walls.

9 You also saw the damage to the city of David,

That it was great;

And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.

10 You numbered the houses of Jerusalem,

And the houses you broke down

To fortify the wall.

9 You saw that the walls of Jerusalem

had many cracks that needed repairing.

You stored up water in the lower pool.

10 You counted the houses of Jerusalem,

and you tore down houses to repair the walls with their stones.

9 And ye saw the breaches of the city of David, that they were many; and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool; 10 and ye numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and ye brake down the houses to fortify the wall;

9 and ye have seen the breaches of the city of David, that they are many; and ye have gathered together the waters of the lower pool; 10 and ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and have broken down the houses to fortify the wall;

9 You will see how many places in David’s wall are broken.
