Ezekiel 7:17–18

17 Every hand will go limp;

every leg will be wet with urine.

18 They will put on sackcloth

and be clothed with terror.

Every face will be covered with shame,

and every head will be shaved.

17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. 18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

17 Their hands will hang limp,

their knees will be weak as water.

18 They will dress themselves in burlap;

horror and shame will cover them.

They will shave their heads

in sorrow and remorse.

17 Every hand will be feeble,

And every knee will be as weak as water.

18 They will also be girded with sackcloth;

Horror will cover them;

Shame will be on every face,

Baldness on all their heads.

17 All hands will hang weakly with fear, and all knees will become weak as water. 18 They will put on rough cloth to show how sad they are. They will tremble all over with fear. Their faces will show their shame, and all their heads will be shaved.

all knees turn to water.

18 They shall put on sackcloth;

horror shall cover them.

Shame shall be on all faces,

baldness on all their heads.

17 All of the hands will hang limp, and all of the knees will be wet with urine. 18 And they will wear sackcloth, and horror will cover them, and on all of the faces will be shame, and baldness on all of their heads.

17 “ ‘Their hands will be powerless to help them. Their knees will become as weak as water. 18 They will put on black clothes. They will put on terror as if it were their clothes. Their faces will be covered with shame. Their heads will be shaved.
