Ezekiel 7:1–5

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to the land of Israel:

“ ‘The end! The end has come

upon the four corners of the land!

3 The end is now upon you,

and I will unleash my anger against you.

I will judge you according to your conduct

and repay you for all your detestable practices.

4 I will not look on you with pity;

I will not spare you.

I will surely repay you for your conduct

and for the detestable practices among you.

“ ‘Then you will know that I am the Lord.’

5 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“ ‘Disaster! Unheard-of disaster!

See, it comes!

1 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. 3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. 4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

5 Thus saith the Lord God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.

1 Then this message came to me from the Lord: 2 “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to Israel:

“The end is here!

Wherever you look—

east, west, north, or south—

your land is finished.

3 No hope remains,

for I will unleash my anger against you.

I will call you to account

for all your detestable sins.

4 I will turn my eyes away and show no pity.

I will repay you for all your detestable sins.

Then you will know that I am the Lord.

5 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

Disaster after disaster

is coming your way!

1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “And you, son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel:

‘An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.

3 Now the end has come upon you,

And I will send My anger against you;

I will judge you according to your ways,

And I will repay you for all your abominations.

4 My eye will not spare you,

Nor will I have pity;

But I will repay your ways,

And your abominations will be in your midst;

Then you shall know that I am the Lord!’

5 “Thus says the Lord God:

‘A disaster, a singular disaster;

Behold, it has come!

1 Again the Lord spoke his word to me, saying: 2 “Human, the Lord God says this to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land. 3 Now the end has come for you, and I will send my anger against you. I will judge you for the way you have lived, and I will make you pay for all your actions that I hate. 4 I will have no pity on you; I will not hold back punishment from you. Instead, I will make you pay for the way you have lived and for your actions that I hate. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

5 “This is what the Lord God says: Disaster on top of disaster is coming.

1 Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 2 And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto the land of Israel, An end: the end is come upon the four corners of the land. 3 Now is the end upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations. 4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

5 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An evil, an only evil; behold, it cometh.

1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 2 And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto the land of Israel: An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. 3 Now is the end upon thee; and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will bring upon thee all thine abominations. 4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. 5 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An evil, an only evil! behold, it is come.

1 The Lord spoke his word to me. He said, 2 “Son of man, this is what the Almighty Lord says to ⸤the people in⸥ the land of Israel: The end is coming! The end is coming to the four corners of the earth. 3 Now the end is coming for you. I will send my anger against you. I will judge you for the way you have lived, and I will punish you for all the detestable things that you have done. 4 I will not have compassion for you or feel sorry for you. I will pay you back for the way you have lived and for the detestable things you have done. Then you will know that I am the Lord. 

5 “This is what the Almighty Lord says: One disaster after another is coming.

1 And the word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, this is what the Lord God says to the land of Israel:

An end! The end has come

on the four corners of the land.

3 The end is now upon you;

I will send My anger against you

and judge you according to your ways.

I will punish you for all your detestable practices.

4 I will not look on you with pity or spare you,

but I will punish you for your ways

and for your detestable practices within you.

Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”

5 This is what the Lord God says:

Look, one disaster after another is coming!

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 You, O mortal, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel:

An end! The end has come

upon the four corners of the land.

3 Now the end is upon you;

I will let loose my anger upon you;

I will judge you according to your ways;

I will punish you for all your abominations.

4 My eye will not spare you; I will have no pity.

I will punish you for your ways

while your abominations are among you.

Then you shall know that I am the Lord.

5 Thus says the Lord God:

Disaster after disaster! See, it comes.

1 And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2 “And you, son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh to the land of Israel: ‘The end comes, the end on the four corners of the land. 3 Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and I will judge you according to your ways, and I will bring on you all your detestable things. 4 And my eye will not take pity on you, and I will not show compassion for your ways; on you I will bring your detestable things; they will be in the midst of you, and you will know that I am Yahweh.’ 5 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: ‘Look! Disaster after disaster is coming!

1 A message came to me from the Lord. He said, 2 “Son of man, I am the Lord and King. I say to the land of Israel, ‘The end has come! It has come on the four corners of the land. 3 The end has now come for you. I will pour out my anger on you. I will judge you based on how you have lived. I will pay you back for all of your evil practices. I hate them.

4 “ ‘I will not spare you or feel sorry for you. You can be sure that I will pay you back in keeping with how you have lived. I will judge you for your evil practices. I hate them. You will know that I am the Lord.’

5 “I am the Lord and King. I say, ‘Horrible trouble is coming! No one has ever heard of anything like it.

1 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me saying,

2 “And you, son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land.

3 ‘Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring all your abominations upon you.

4 ‘For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the Lord!’

5 “Thus says the Lord God, ‘A disaster, unique disaster, behold it is coming!
