Ezekiel 4:11–13

11 Also measure out a sixth of a hin of water and drink it at set times. 12 Eat the food as you would a loaf of barley bread; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel.” 13 The Lord said, “In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them.”

11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink. 12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight. 13 And the Lord said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.

11 Then measure out a jar of water for each day, and drink it at set times. 12 Prepare and eat this food as you would barley cakes. While all the people are watching, bake it over a fire using dried human dung as fuel and then eat the bread.” 13 Then the Lord said, “This is how Israel will eat defiled bread in the Gentile lands to which I will banish them!”

11 You shall also drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink. 12 And you shall eat it as barley cakes; and bake it using fuel of human waste in their sight.”

13 Then the Lord said, “So shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.”

11 You will drink about two-thirds of a quart of water every day at set times. 12 Eat your food as you would eat a barley cake, baking it over human dung where the people can see.” 13 Then the Lord said, “In the same way Israel will eat unclean food among the nations where I force them to go.”

11 And thou shalt drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time shalt thou drink. 12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man. 13 And Jehovah said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.

11 And thou shalt drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time shalt thou drink. 12 And thou shalt eat it as barley-cake, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man. 13 And Jehovah said, So shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations whither I will drive them.

11 Measure out two-thirds of a quart of water, and drink it at set times. 12 Eat the bread as you would eat barley loaves. Bake the bread in front of people, using human excrement for fuel.” 

13 Then the Lord said, “In the same way, the people of Israel will eat uncleanbread among the nations where I scatter them.” 

11 You are also to drink water by measure, a sixth of a gallon, which you will drink from time to time. 12 You will eat it as you would a barley cake and bake it over dried human excrement in their sight.” 13 The Lord said, “This is how the Israelites will eat their bread—ceremonially unclean—among the nations where I will banish them.”

11 And you shall drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; at fixed times you shall drink. 12 You shall eat it as a barley cake, baking it in their sight on human dung.” 13 The Lord said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat their bread, unclean, among the nations to which I will drive them.”

11 And an amount of water you shall drink, a sixth of a hin; at fixed times you shall drink it. 12 And as a bread-cake of barley you shall eat it, and with human excrement you shall bake it before their eyes.” 13 And Yahweh said, “Thus shall the Israelites eat their unclean food among the nations where I will scatter them.”

11 Also measure out two thirds of a quart of water. Drink it at your regular mealtimes.

12 “Eat your food as you would eat a barley cake. Bake it over human waste in front of the people.” 13 The Lord said, “That is how the people of Israel will eat ‘unclean’ food. They will eat it in the nations where I will drive them.”

11 “The water you drink shall be the sixth part of a hin by measure; you shall drink it from time to time.

12 “You shall eat it as a barley cake, having baked it in their sight over human dung.”

13 Then the Lord said, “Thus will the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean among the nations where I will banish them.”
