The Bronze Altar

27 “You shall make the naltar of acacia wood, five cubits1 long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. And you shall make ohorns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and pyou shall overlay it with bronze. You shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins and qforks and fire pans. You shall make all its utensils of bronze.

Exodus 27:1–3 — The New International Version (NIV)

“Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide. Make a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze. Make all its utensils of bronze—its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans.
