Romans 10:15–17 — The New International Version (NIV)

15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:15–17 — New Living Translation (NLT)

15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

16 But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:15–17 — New Century Version (NCV)

15 and before someone can go and tell them, that person must be sent. It is written, “How beautiful is the person who comes to bring good news.” 16 But not all the Jews accepted the good news. Isaiah said, “Lord, who believed what we told them?” 17 So faith comes from hearing the Good News, and people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — American Standard Version (ASV)

15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

15 and how shall they preach unless they have been sent? according as it is written, How beautiful the feet of them that announce glad tidings of peace, of them that announce glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the glad tidings. For Esaias says, Lord, who has believed our report? 17 So faith then is by a report, but the report by God’s word.

Romans 10:15–17 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

15 How can people tell the Good News if no one sends them? As Scripture says, “How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News.” 16 But not everyone has believed the Good News.

Isaiah asks, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17 So faith comes from hearing the message, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke.

Romans 10:15–17 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who announce the gospel of good things! 16 But all did not obey the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? 17 So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

15 And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” 16 But not all have obeyed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17 So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

15 And how will they preach, unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How timely are the feet of those who bring good news of good things.” 16 But not all have obeyed the good news, for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word about Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

15 And how can anyone preach without being sent? It is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

16 But not all the people of Israel accepted the good news. Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17 So faith comes from hearing the message. And the message that is heard is the word of Christ.

Romans 10:15–17 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)

15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
