Luke 5:27–29

Jesus Calls Levi

27 bAfter this he went out and saw ca tax collector named dLevi, sitting at the tax booth. And he said to him, Follow me.” 28 And eleaving everything, he rose and followed him.

29 And Levi made him a great feast in his house, and there was a large company fof tax collectors and others reclining at table with them.

Luke 5:27–29 — The New International Version (NIV)

27 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. Follow me,” Jesus said to him, 28 and Levi got up, left everything and followed him.

29 Then Levi held a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them.
