Luke 12:40–41

40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

41 Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?”

40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

40 You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

41 Peter asked, “Lord, is that illustration just for us or for everyone?”

40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

41 Then Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?”

40 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at a time when you don’t expect him!”

41 Peter said, “Lord, did you tell this story to us or to all people?”

40 Be ye also ready: for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

41 And Peter said, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even unto all?

40 And ye therefore, be ye ready, for in the hour in which ye do not think it, the Son of man comes.

41 And Peter said to him, Lord, sayest thou this parable to us, or also to all?

40 Be ready, because the Son of Man will return when you least expect him.” 

41 Peter asked, “Lord, did you use this illustration just for us or for everyone?” 

40 You also be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”

41 “Lord,” Peter asked, “are You telling this parable to us or to everyone?”

40 You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

41 Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for everyone?”

40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not think he will come.”

41 And Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable for us, or also for everyone?”

40 You also must be ready. The Son of Man will come at an hour when you don’t expect him.”

41 Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this story to us, or to everyone?”

40 “You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”

41 Peter said, “Lord, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?”
