34 Jesus answered, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while he is with them?

34 And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

34 Jesus responded, “Do wedding guests fast while celebrating with the groom? Of course not.

34 And He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

34 Jesus said to them, “You cannot make the friends of the bridegroom fast while he is still with them.

34 And Jesus said unto them, Can ye make the sons of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

34 And he said to them, Can ye make the sons of the bridechamber fast when the bridegroom is with them?

34 Jesus asked them, “Can you force wedding guests to fast while the groom is still with them?

34 Jesus said to them, “You can’t make the wedding guests fast while the groom is with them, can you?

34 Jesus said to them, “You cannot make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?

34 So he said to them, “You are not able to make the bridegroom’s attendants fast as long as the bridegroom is with them, are you?

34 Jesus answered, “Can you make the guests of the groom go without eating while he is with them?

34 And Jesus said to them, “You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?
